Biography

Diego Sandullo

Guitarist and composer.

 He was born in La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1975. He graduated from Gilardo Gilardi Conservatory obtaining the Senior Guitar teacher's degree (2003). He continued his studies in Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory situated in Torino city, in Italy (2004).

 He also specialized in tango Guitar in Música Popular Avellaneda School (E.M.P.A.), and improved himself as a composer with Claudio Alsuyet.

 He has obtained the first price in the "Gilardo Gilardi" contest and first price in de second contest of the discograph La Plata Records for the edition of a live CD, he also formed several groups were he worked as director and fixer such as: Hora cero Nuevo Tango and Astor Cuatro, dedicating his time to interpretate Astor Piazzolla’s music.

 Also participated in the orchestra of Omar Valente Tango. He was selectionated es finalist in "Guitarras del Mundo” festival. Nowadays, he works as a composer, arranger and guitarist in “Habemus Tango Trío” with Walther Castro (Bandoneón) and Ricardo Cánepa (Contrabass), Diego Sandullo & Fredrik Moth duo (Guitar and Tenor Sax-Harmonica) and as soloist.
